Creator of the Clover Brewer Doubles Sales Growth
and Adds 110 New Clover Locations
Seattle, WA -- Growth. That's been the Coffee Equipment
Company's 2007 theme. Growth in the number of people
trying a cup of specialty brew over their regular latte.
Growth in the number of cafes offering a rich selection
of specialty coffees, instead of "whatever's in the
pot." Growth in revenue -- for the Coffee Equipment
Company and their specialty coffee roaster and retailer
partners -- as the Clover brewer inspires new ways to
sell coffee by the bean and by the cup. Today, as
mainstream interest in specialty coffee continues to
increase, the Coffee Equipment Company happily announces
more than a 100 percent growth rate in Clover sales and
110 new cafe additions to the Clover family since the
beginning of 2007.
"We're excited to see so many retailers elevate their
brewed coffee," says Zander Nosler, cofounder of The
Coffee Equipment Company. "It's exciting to see that
embracing both the Clover and the single-cup business
model can greatly improve a cafe's bottom line."
Cafes exploring the single-cup business model with a
Clover brewer will see a return on investment selling as
little as 25 cups of coffee per day. Additionally, the
Clover reduces cafe waste by brewing coffee to order,
eliminating the need to dump stale air pots and allowing
for the individual sale of a wider variety of premium
coffees.
More money and less waste. That's sure to be a hot topic
at this week's Seattle Coffee Fest, where the Coffee
Equipment Company will showcase Clover's capabilities
and their web-based CloverNet management tools. The
Coffee Equipment Company team will also encourage Clover
retailers to enter their favorite at-origins
organization for the second annual Clover-at-Origins
program. Clover-at-Origins is dedicated to all the
people in coffee growing countries who share an
obsessive commitment to coffee excellence. Through this
program, the Coffee Equipment Company donates a Clover
brewer to an organization in a coffee-growing country,
allowing the recipient to mimic the end consumer's
experience with Clover-brewed coffee.
The Seattle Coffee Fest begins today and will run
through November 11 in the Washington State Convention
and Trade Center. Anyone interested in learning more
about Clover is encouraged to visit The Coffee Equipment
Company in Booth #525 or online at
www.cloverequipment.com.

technologies worthy of the world's finest beans;
technologies that simplify the brewing process and
